Education Innovation 2018 Award – GT FIRE
Prof. Di Leo and Rimoli have been awarded a 2018 Education Innovation award from theĀ Georgia Tech Funding in Research and Education (GT-FIRE). This award will be used to develop Augmented and Virtual Reality toolboxes for structural analysis education.
Boeing/Mesa Robotic Landing Gear Flight Testing
Prof. Di Leo received an award from Boeing/Mesa for ground and flight support of the S100 Robotic Landing Gear Program. This is part of a larger DARPA funded Robotic Landing Gear program.
DURIP Award
Prof. Di Leo (PI) in collaboration with Profs. Massimo Ruzzene and Julian Rimoli have been granted a DURIP award by the Army Research Office (ARO). This award will enable research in optical characterization of the dynamic mechanical response of advanced aerospace materials and structures.
