Prof. Di Leo and the M3Lab have been awarded an NSF CMMI award from the Mechanics of Materials (MOMS) program to support our research of nano-architected electrodes with elastic instabilities!

Prof. Di Leo and Rimoli have been awarded a 2018 Education Innovation award from the Georgia Tech Funding in Research and Education (GT-FIRE). This award will be used to develop Augmented and Virtual Reality toolboxes for structural analysis education.

Prof. Di Leo received an award from Boeing/Mesa for ground and flight support of the S100 Robotic Landing Gear Program. This is part of a larger DARPA funded Robotic Landing Gear program.

Prof. Di Leo (PI) in collaboration with Profs. Massimo Ruzzene and Julian Rimoli have been granted a DURIP award by the Army Research Office (ARO). This award will enable research in optical characterization of the dynamic mechanical response of advanced aerospace materials and structures.

Prof. Di Leo was named to the 2018 group of Diversity & Inclusion Fellows at Georgia Tech.
